PLATFORM STANDARDS

Fuel Taxi is a real platform — because Fuel Pros run real operations.

Every Fuel Pro on Fuel Taxi commits to safety, professionalism, and the kind of customer experience that builds trust in this industry. This isn't bureaucracy — it's what separates Fuel Taxi from every generic platform that lets anyone in. Here's exactly what you commit to as a Fuel Pro, and how the platform holds the line.

Safety & Compliance

Fuel delivery is real-world work with real-world consequences. Every Fuel Pro maintains active, valid compliance with the regulations of their jurisdiction.

  • Commercial general liability insurance, current and on file.
  • Commercial auto insurance covering all delivery vehicles.
  • Environmental impairment liability where required.
  • Hazmat certifications for all drivers handling fuel.
  • DOT registration and fire marshal approval per jurisdiction.
  • Compliance Vault renewal reminders at 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 days out.

Proof of Delivery

Every delivery is documented with GPS-tagged photos and accurate gallons logged. This protects you, your customer, and the platform — and it's non-negotiable.

  • License plate confirmation before fueling begins.
  • GPS active and verified at the time of delivery completion.
  • Photos captured in-app at delivery — no camera roll uploads accepted.
  • Actual gallons delivered logged before the order closes.
  • Receipt delivered to the customer automatically.

Service & Communication

Customers using Fuel Taxi expect to be served at the same level they'd expect from any modern service business. You set the standard for your own operation; we set the minimum baseline.

  • Respond to in-app customer messages within a reasonable time.
  • Honor the ETAs you display in your store.
  • Communicate proactively if delays or issues arise during a delivery.
  • Use platform-routed phone numbers — no sharing of personal contact info.
  • Treat every customer interaction professionally and respectfully.

Honest Business

What you publish on your store page is what customers see and what you deliver. Misleading availability, hidden fees, or off-platform transaction attempts are platform violations.

  • Prices and fees on the store page reflect what customers are actually charged.
  • If you're unavailable, your store reflects that — don't accept orders you can't fulfill.
  • Customers Fuel Taxi brings to you stay on platform transactions.
  • Disputes resolved transparently through the platform's tools, not side channels.

Driver Standards

Your drivers represent your business. They also represent Fuel Taxi to your customers. We require basic, real expectations of every driver on the platform.

  • Active GPS during every shift.
  • Use of the official Driver App — no shadow workflows.
  • Hazmat certifications current and on file.
  • Proof-of-delivery captured on every order, every time.
  • Professional conduct toward customers at all times.

Incident Reporting

Spills, accidents, misfueling, customer safety incidents — anything that affects safety or property gets reported promptly. Reporting protects you and the platform.

  • Any reportable incident is reported within 24 hours of awareness.
  • Cooperate fully with platform investigation when an incident occurs.
  • Required documentation provided promptly upon request.
  • Failure to report a reportable incident is a platform violation.
ACCOUNTABILITY

How the line is held.

Standards exist for a reason. When something breaks them, the platform responds in proportion. Most issues are resolved through honest conversation — but the system is in place to protect customers, other Fuel Pros, and the integrity of the platform.

STAGE 01 · NOTICE

Direct conversation

Most issues — late delivery, missed photo proof, customer complaint — start with a direct message from the Fuel Taxi team. The goal is to understand what happened and fix it. No drama. No punishment. Just clarity.

STAGE 02 · PAUSE

Temporary suspension

Repeated standard violations or a lapse in compliance documentation can trigger a temporary pause of your store. Customers can't see or order from you while paused. Once the underlying issue is resolved and documented, the pause lifts.

STAGE 03 · REMOVAL

Account removal

Serious incidents — safety violations, repeated dishonesty, off-platform transaction attempts, harassment, fraud — result in removal. Removal is rare and used as a last resort. The platform stays trustworthy precisely because removal exists when it must.
