No setup fee. No annual contract. No franchise buy-in. The barrier to entry is your work ethic, not your bank account. Here's exactly how every dollar moves on the platform.
Full platform access. Every core feature listed above. No setup fee. No onboarding fee. Free forever to start, as long as you're operating with 2 drivers or fewer.
Flat per-driver fee. Each additional driver gets their own login, their own driver app, their own delivery history, their own performance metrics. Add or remove drivers anytime from your dashboard.
Added to your customer's checkout total — capped at $30 per order. This is NOT taken from your payout. Your customers pay it. Your fuel revenue + delivery fee stays in your pocket (minus standard Stripe processing).
100% of every tip goes to the driver who earned it. Fuel Taxi never takes a cent of tip income. Always. Period.
Standard payment processing. Subtracted from your payout per transaction. Stripe handles fraud protection, chargeback support, and same-currency settlement. Industry-standard rate.
None. Month-to-month, always. Cancel anytime. Fuel Taxi earns your business every month, not on signing day.
None. No platform onboarding fee. No "implementation" fee. No franchise buy-in. The only money you spend to start is whatever your real business costs to run (trucks, insurance, fuel inventory).
The base plan includes 1 service zone (~15-mile radius). Need to expand into additional zones? Add them as paid add-ons. Pricing scales by square mileage of the expanded area.
Currently in beta. Run multiple service locations under one operator account, each with its own zones, rates, and drivers. Ask the Fuel Taxi team about beta access.
Customer orders 12.4 gallons of 87 octane at $3.79/gal. Delivery fee is $8. Here's exactly where every dollar goes.
Note: Stripe processing rates are industry standard and may vary slightly depending on your account history and card type. The 4% platform fee is added to the customer's bill — it never comes out of your payout.
Every transaction flows through Stripe Connect. Here's the lifecycle of a single delivery's payment, in three steps.
When the customer confirms their order, the platform pre-authorizes the order total on their card. The funds are reserved but not yet captured. If the final delivery is less than ordered, the difference is released back to the card.
When the driver completes the delivery and logs the actual gallons pumped, the final charge is captured. The customer is charged for what they received — never more, sometimes less.
On Stripe's standard payout schedule — typically 2 business days for new accounts, faster as you build account history. Your payout is fuel revenue + delivery fee, minus Stripe processing. 100% of tips go to drivers.
