Terms of Service.

1. What Fuel Taxi Is

Fuel Taxi is a technology marketplace platform that connects customers with independent local fuel delivery businesses ("Fuel Pros"). Fuel Taxi is not a fuel delivery company. Fuel Taxi does not employ, contract with as fulfillment workers, or operate the trucks, drivers, or fuel handling equipment used to perform deliveries. The Fuel Pro you select is an independent business operating under its own brand, with its own employees, insurance, licenses, and operational responsibility.

By using Fuel Taxi, you understand and agree that:

• The Fuel Pro is the party fulfilling your order, not Fuel Taxi.
• The Fuel Pro is solely responsible for the physical delivery, fuel handling, and any environmental or safety considerations.
• Fuel Taxi's role is limited to operating the technology platform, processing payment, facilitating communication, and generating demand for the Fuel Pros on its platform.

2. Your Account

To use Fuel Taxi, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including your name, valid email, valid phone number, and a payment method.
• Keep your account information up to date.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Fuel Taxi.

Fuel Taxi may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse, or behavior that puts other users or Fuel Pros at risk.

3. Orders, Pricing & Payment

Pricing. Each Fuel Pro independently sets their own fuel rate (per gallon) and delivery fee. Fuel Taxi adds a 4% platform fee at checkout, capped at $30 per order, paid by the customer. The full price breakdown is shown to you before you confirm any order.

Pre-authorization. When you place an order, your payment method is pre-authorized for the estimated total. The final charge is captured only after the delivery is complete and reflects the actual gallons delivered. Any unused amount from the pre-authorization is released back to your card on your card issuer's standard timeline (typically same-day for debit, 3–5 business days for credit).

Profile accuracy. You are responsible for ensuring your saved vehicle and equipment information, delivery addresses, and selected fuel types are accurate. Your Fuel Pro fuels what you've selected in the app.

Tips. Tips you provide go 100% to the driver who delivered your order. Fuel Taxi never retains any portion of a tip.

4. Your Responsibilities

When placing an order on Fuel Taxi, you agree to:

• Ensure the vehicle or equipment to be fueled is at the delivery address at the agreed time and is accessible to the driver.
• Verify the fuel type you select matches what your vehicle or equipment requires. Fuel Taxi and your Fuel Pro deliver what's been ordered — verifying the correct fuel for your specific vehicle is your responsibility.
• Communicate any access instructions clearly (gate codes, dock numbers, marina slip information, etc.) before delivery begins.
• Be reachable through the in-app messaging or the platform-routed phone number while a delivery is active.
• Conduct yourself respectfully toward Fuel Pros and their drivers.

5. Independent Fuel Pros

Each Fuel Pro operates as an independent business. This means:

• Different Fuel Pros may have different policies regarding scheduling, fleet accounts, invoicing, electric vehicle charging, or special services. Check the Fuel Pro's store page before your first order with them.
• Different Fuel Pros may have different fees, hours of availability, and service zones.
• Different Fuel Pros maintain their own insurance, licensing, and compliance — Fuel Taxi requires every Fuel Pro to upload and maintain valid documentation, and pauses accounts where compliance lapses, but operational responsibility rests with the Fuel Pro at all times.
• If something goes wrong during a delivery — incorrect fuel, property damage, billing question — contact your Fuel Pro directly through the in-app messaging first. Report the issue to Fuel Taxi as well so we can help with follow-up.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel an order at any time before the assigned driver begins fueling. Depending on how far along the order is, a small failed-delivery or trip fee may apply if cancellation occurs after the Fuel Pro has been dispatched but before fueling has begun. The cancellation terms for each Fuel Pro are visible on their store page.

If a delivery is completed but the gallons delivered are less than the pre-authorized estimate, the difference is automatically released back to your card. If a delivery is not completed due to an issue caused by Fuel Taxi or the Fuel Pro, you will not be charged.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Fuel Taxi's role is limited to operating the technology platform. Fuel Taxi is not liable for incidents arising from a Fuel Pro's physical operations, fuel handling, environmental events, property damage, or personal injury.
• Fuel Taxi's total cumulative liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount of platform fees collected on the specific transaction at issue.
• Fuel Taxi makes no warranty that any particular Fuel Pro will be available in your area, that delivery times will meet a specific window, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

All Fuel Taxi software, technology, design, brand assets, name, logo, and trademarks are the sole property of Fuel Taxi. By using the platform, you do not acquire any ownership rights in any Fuel Taxi intellectual property. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to derive the source code of the platform. You may not use the Fuel Taxi name, logo, or brand assets without express written permission.

9. Dispute Resolution

Informal resolution first. If you have an issue with a delivery, contact your Fuel Pro through the in-app messaging first. Report the issue to Fuel Taxi as well — we'll help where we can. Most issues are resolved this way.

Binding arbitration. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and not in court. You waive the right to participate in a class action against Fuel Taxi.

This arbitration provision does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in court for matters such as intellectual property protection.

10. Modifications & Termination

Fuel Taxi may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may close your account at any time through the app. Fuel Taxi may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse, safety concerns, or behavior that risks harm to other users, Fuel Pros, or the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through arbitration as described in Section 9 shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Insert County, State].
