The whole price, up front, before you confirm. Fuel rate, delivery fee, platform fee — all of it. And if your driver pumps less than you ordered, the difference is back on your card the same day. It's just how it should work.

A 4% platform fee is added at checkout and paid by the customer — capped at $30. It covers secure payment processing, live tracking, and platform operations. Always shown clearly — never hidden.

Is fuel delivery actually safe? +
Every Fuel Pro on Fuel Taxi carries commercial general liability, commercial auto, and environmental impairment insurance. They're licensed for fuel delivery in their region and certified for hazmat handling. Compliance documents live in the Fuel Taxi compliance vault — if anything lapses, the Fuel Pro can't take orders. Drivers can't complete a delivery without active GPS, and every delivery includes a timestamped, GPS-tagged photo of the actual fueling, captured by the Fuel Pro.
Where is Fuel Taxi available? +
Coverage is expanding across the United States — and we're not stopping at the border. North America is next, with more countries and territories opening as soon as they're available to us. Sooner than you'd think. For now, drop your address into the search and see who's near you. If nobody's there yet, sign up and you'll know the moment a Fuel Pro launches in your area.
How does pricing actually work? +
Each Fuel Pro sets their own fuel rate (per gallon) and delivery fee. On top of that there's a 4% platform fee added at checkout — capped at $30 — that covers secure payment processing, live tracking, and platform operations. You see the full breakdown before you confirm. Your order amount is pre-authorized at checkout, then the final charge is for actual gallons delivered. The difference releases back the same day on debit, 3–5 days on credit.
What if I order the wrong fuel type? +
Your profile accuracy is on you — the vehicle, the equipment, and the fuel type you've selected. Your Fuel Pro fuels what's been ordered in the app, so double-check before you confirm. If something gets fueled incorrectly, contact your Fuel Pro right away to sort it out at the source, then report the issue to Fuel Taxi as well. Fuel Taxi is the platform — your Fuel Pro is the independent business doing the delivery — but we're here to help with the follow-up.
Can I schedule a recurring delivery? +
Some Fuel Pros offer scheduled and recurring deliveries — it depends on the operator. Check their store page before your first order to see what options they offer. If you don't see what you need, message them directly through the app.
What kinds of vehicles and equipment can I fuel? +
Cars, trucks, SUVs, fleets, boats, generators, construction equipment, off-road vehicles — anything that runs on gasoline or diesel and can be safely fueled in place. Each Fuel Pro publishes the fuel grades they offer (87, 89, premium, diesel, off-road diesel, marine).
Can I message my Fuel Pro before or during the delivery? +
Yes. Every Fuel Pro has in-app messaging active through the platform. Use it for questions about fuel cap access, your specific vehicle, special timing, or anything else before or during your delivery.
