When you order, we place a temporary hold for the estimate. At delivery you're charged for the exact gallons pumped — and anything left over releases straight back to your card.

Are there any hidden fees? +
No. Your price is fuel + your Fuel Pro's delivery fee + a 4% platform fee (capped at $30) + any tip you choose. Every line is shown before you confirm, and nothing is added after.
What's the most I'll pay in platform fees? +
$30 per delivery — full stop. The platform fee is 4% of your order, but it's capped at $30 no matter how large the order gets. A $750 order hits the cap; a $5,000 order still pays only $30.
Why is my price different from another Fuel Pro's? +
Each Fuel Pro is an independent local business and sets their own fuel rate and delivery fee. You always see the full price before ordering, and the Fuel Taxi platform fee (4%, max $30) is the same no matter who you choose.
Do you charge my card the full amount upfront? +
No. At checkout we place a pre-authorization hold for the estimated amount. You're only charged for the actual gallons pumped at delivery — the unused part of the hold releases back to your card (same day on debit, 3–5 days on credit).
Can my business get monthly invoicing? +
Many Fuel Pros offer monthly Net-30 invoicing and contract pricing for fleet and commercial accounts, so you're not paying by card on every delivery. Check the Fuel Pro's store page or message them in the app to set it up.
Does Fuel Taxi deliver the fuel? +
No — Fuel Taxi is the platform, not the delivery company. The fuel is delivered by independent local Fuel Pros who run their own businesses, set their own fuel rate and delivery fee, and handle every delivery. We provide the app, secure payments, live tracking, and support.
Where do my tips go? +
Fuel Taxi takes 0% of tips — the platform fee never touches them. How tips reach the crew follows your Fuel Pro’s own policy.
